Even if you don’t know who Gary is, you can still walk away with some great advice relating to the building of your ’social capital’ (and good karma, which doesn’t hurt either):
• Immerse yourself in your niche - joins groups, forums and network, network, network. Learn everything there is to know, become an expert.
• It doesn’t matter what you know, it’s who you know (Ok, so maybe that’s Biz 101 - but it’s never been truer in this current business environment.)
• Give until it hurts. Then give some more. (As you give, the universe pays you back tenfold.)

But most importantly:
• Come with passion: If you don’t have passion for your brand, your business, your app, your customer, your life – it doesn’t matter what social equity you have. You will lose.
